Paul's letter to the Christian Church in America

Paul's letter to the Christian Church in America

Many have often wondered what would Paul say if he could see the church in America today.  What letter would we be receiving?  Here's what we think:

Dear Brothers and Sisters

I speak to you today with a heavy heart, as I see that you have departed from the path of righteousness and have forsaken the teachings of the Torah. You have become complacent in your faith, and your hearts have grown cold towards the Lord.

The Gospel of Christ is not a Sunday morning ritual, it is a way of life. Yet I see many of you who claim to follow Yeshua, yet your actions prove otherwise. You have become ensnared by the cares and pleasures of this world, and have abandoned the teachings of our Lord.

You have allowed the values of the world to infiltrate your churches, and many of you have compromised your faith to fit in with the prevailing culture. Your society has embraced moral relativism and rejected the absolute truths of God's Word. The values of the world have crept into your churches, and many of you have compromised your faith to fit in with the prevailing culture.

But let me remind you that Christ did not come to abolish the law, but to fulfill it. The Torah is the foundation of our faith, and it is by its teachings that we are to live our lives. You cannot pick and choose which commandments to follow, and which to disregard. You must embrace the whole of God's Word, and allow it to transform your lives.

You have also become divided and fragmented, instead of being united in the love of Christ. You have forgotten that in Yeshua the Christ, there is no Jew or Gentile, no slave or free, no male or female. You have allowed political, racial, and denominational differences to drive a wedge between you.

But I implore you to come together in unity, and to stand firm in the truth. Do not be swayed by the values of this world, but let the light of God's Word guide you. Let us not forget that we are engaged in a spiritual battle, and that the enemy seeks to divide and conquer us.

But despite these challenges, I also see hope. I see a remnant of faithful believers who have not bowed their knee to the idols of this world. I see churches that are vibrant and alive, preaching the unadulterated gospel. I see Believers who are standing up for the truth, even in the face of persecution.

My dear brothers and sisters, I urge you to return to the teachings of the Torah, and to let it guide your lives. Remember the example of the early church, which devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching, fellowship, the breaking of bread, and prayer.

I also urge you to come together in unity. Do not allow the enemy to divide you along any lines. Remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

Let us stand firm in the truth, and not be afraid to speak out against the falsehoods of this world. Let us be a shining light in the darkness, and let our lives be a testament to the power of God's Word.

May the grace of our Lord Yeshua the Christ be with you all
